Pride - Prejudice?

It is a thing of joy to be wealthy, more beautiful, smarter or more intelligent than people around you. It is a gift from God that is given and meant to be used. As Marianne Willaimson put it, "We are all meant to shine as children do", by doing that "... we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same." Therefore it will be a great injustice to others if we do not use those gifts we possess.

However, having such edge over others, brings pride. I do not have to explain what pride is and give examples of what causes it, if you do not know by now then, bless you! They say Ignorance is bliss!

I'm not here to talk about pride, I'm more focused on the aftermath - Prejudice. Seeing others as inferior or non-important because they don't meet your standards, is the best way to define prejudice.

Many of us have either been 'victims of' or have victimized others. But as far as I know, nothing lasts forever, and as they say 'Pride comes before a fall' ... and so will prejudice.

All these facts and thoughts leads me to ask - the basis of my writing.

What will you do or how will you treat someone that was once prejudice against you? Will you treat them the way they treated you or Will you be loving and humane enough to treat them otherwise?

The questions may sound easy, and to some extent they may be, but all that depends on you.
